About Us
Northshore Beachhouse is a new (2024) informational website. This clean and updated private beach house has been in our family now for 90 years! We invite you to come and stay! We have a sweet, older original beach house for you to enjoy, with family or friends. Come explore a largely rural area of O'ahu, the North Shore, that comprises both the ocean & mountains, surf and farms, a calmer and quieter area of O'ahu, with Honolulu just an hour away and the international airport even closer.
Our Beach and Views
Our Beach and Views are for you to enjoy! Stroll the beach, sit and splash, swim, or snorkel! Shallow, safe entrance. Wide reef that blocks huge waves, is a home to fish and turtles. And if you feel adventurous, rent a kayak or surfboard nearby, and try it when the surf is not big. (Or simply watch the waves from the beach, our lawn or from the comfort of our living room!) You are here to Relax and Renew, Restore and Revive!
Our Vintage Beachhouse
This private home (with 3 BR/2Bath, separate kitchen, large open-plan Living/Dining Room, large open-air lanai) began existence here c. 1925; it was said to have been a fishing shack, said my grand parents! It remains as one of the limited remaining original beach houses on island. We keep updating it, for comfort and ease, as well as keeping vintage features. We hope to share it with you, because it is a great home, as well as a valuable piece of older, simpler Hawai'i It is comfortable, clean, in a wonderful location, ideal for families and couples -- (no parties etc.)
